The Solar System (Pre - 6th)
Every age is the right age to explore our solar system. Join us on a journey through the eight planets and three dwarf planets that make up our solar system. During this awe-inspiring class, students learn how small the Earth really is in comparison to other planets, the rest of the solar system, our galaxy and the universe! Children learn about past space exploration missions and get a chance to hold a shooting star! Suitcase space explorers even make a model of a planet!
Rocket Rocket Science (4th - 6th)
Is your class ready to lift-off into the world of science? Let the Discovery Center turn your students into rocket scientists as we explore the concept of propulsion. Students will get a chance to launch an Alka-Seltzer rocket before the big lift-off takes place. This class is guaranted to get all your little astronauts involved!
