Mama dove has been sitting on her two eggs, with the father close by taking good care of her. He is a good father because baby birds are born altricial. He has helped the mama dove to build a nest by picking up straw and string and giving them to her. Her first eggs did not hatch but has laid two new ones while we wait patiently to see what will happen.
This is one of the eggs from the second pair that mama dove has laid.
NEW!!! MACHINES AND ROBOTICLEGO® CLASSES!!!!!! See "LEGO Robotics" page for more info.

The Discovery Center's booth appearance at the CENTRAL CALIFORNIA AUTO SHOW was a huge success!!! Thank you to everyone who showed up and spent time with us at our booth. Whether you had little ones over at our arts and craft table, or were simply observing our animals we brought, we were thrilled to have your company. And of course a big thanks to the Central California Auto Show having us. We really appreciate it.
