Do your kids love animals? This December, your curious kids will study natural defenses as they learn how different animals would fare in a fight. Is a lion any match for the deadly jaws of a crocodile? Could a walrus survive the massive paws of a fierce polar bear? Come find out this December! Saturday Science classes are only $5 for the whole family and start at 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. Come see your favorite animals face off!
- "Lion vs. Croc" - December 5, 2009
Who do you think would win and why? Come learn about their defenses and how they use them in a fight. You will find out who wins.
- "Polar bear vs. Walrus" - December 12, 2009
Both animals weigh in at about 1,500 pounds- what a fight! Will the polar bear win against the tusks of the walrus? Will the walrus survive the bear's massive paws?
- "Raptor vs. Pteranodon" - December 19, 2009
Who would win the prehistoric fight? Would the flying dino get away from the angry raptor? Will the raptor's speed be too much for the pteranodon? Come and find out!
