Hello and best wishes from The Discovery Center. The Center is offering Saturday Science programs every Saturday in February from noon to 3 p.m. Your children will learn all about magnets and electricity. I have seen the boards (battery powered) that the children can hook up in various ways to demonstrate electrical connections. It will be a fun-filled time for you and your children. The Discovery Center is all about hands-on science and bringing it alive to stimulate young minds. We think this program will Bring your children on Saturdays this month and while they are learning about magnets you can enjoy walking and seeing the Discovery Center's grounds. While the park is always free on Saturday's for your enjoyment, donations from a grateful public our very much encouraged. We have a three dollar suggested donation per child who attends Saturday Science.

Your Center occupies the City of Fresno's Reedy Park. This park was dedicated to the City of Fresno by the Reedy family many years ago to be the site of a children's park. The Discovery Center has been providing children with nature and science education at Reedy park for over 50 years. All of the activities here are community supported by fees and donations. I would like to give a big thanks to all individuals and corporate sponsors who helped support Winter Camp. We were able to work with Boys and Girls club providing 15 children scholarships for a week of winter camp. The Discovery Center can only continue to provide these opportunities for children with your continued support. If you would like to donate to our camp scholarship fund of just contact me directly and we can put you in touch with a Clovis CPA firm that specializes in legacy planning.
