Spring Egg Fest on Saturday, March 27

Saturday, March 27 is the first Spring Egg Fest at TDC. Bring the whole family for food, fun, games, and the most egg-citing egg hunt. Taking every opportunity to make science fun, we've got a very special Egg Fest activity called "Are you my Momma?" Your kids will study eggs from all sorts of animals, as they learn to identify the different species.


Attention Fresno Met members: Trade in your membership cards at TDC

If you've still got your Fresno Met membership cards in your wallet, don't get rid of them. Though the Fresno Metropolitan Museum has closed its doors, your family can still enjoy an exciting education experience. Grab those cards and bring them in Discovery Center today. We'll trade you for a TDC membership!


February Nature Kids: Children Around the World

Are your little ones ready to start preschool? The Discovery Center makes science lessons something they'll look forward to. This February, your kids can join us for four different lessons in our "Children Around the World" class. We'll teach them about major parts of the world and much more.

Summer Star Parties: May 1 - July 31, 2009

Come join The Discovery Center as we welcome local astronomers and star gazing enthusiasts to our grounds. Every "clear" Friday night the Discovery Center will host a "Star Party" on the lush grounds of the Adobe Picnic area. Everyone is welcome to attend this amazing event. Bring your telescopes, star charts, and blankets to enjoy a fun-filled evening beneath the night sky.

Saturday Science: See Starlab Presentations every week this July

If you're looking for something interesting, yet educational for them to get excited about, you're in luck! Every Saturday this July, your kids can explore the sun and stars without ever leaving the Valley. This month is focused on our Starlab Planetarium.
