Hi! My name is Helen and I've been an educator at The Discovery Center since April 2006. I graduated from Reedley College with a degree in Forestry - with a parks and recreation emphasis. I believe that educating young people about the environment at an early age is the key to an environmentally sound future. The Discovery Center has given me the chance to put that belief into action. Teaching young people the importance of protecting the environment is also very rewarding for me. I hope my actions here have a positive effect on the preservation of natural resources for generations to come.
